"Spinning your wheels" Liberal Circular thinking on gun control

The anti gun crowd  is always screaming "Tougher Gun Laws!" over and over and over.  Generally these people tend to be "liberal" in political view.  The funny thing about that is I work in a more liberal town and see these not prosecute for the laws we have.  This  is for many reasons.  Some are simply overloaded with cases and dispose of them quickly, others are "bleeding hearts" and just do not like locking people away.

So the circle we get is that the same people who keep screaming about tougher laws refuse to fully prosecute them and then state we have a gun problem and scream for more laws then do not prosecute them......Dizzy Yet.  Unless of course you are a a law abiding citizen who never came from a  "disadvantaged" background (excuses, excuses), then you are fully prosecuted.

I have a novel idea.  We don't need more laws.  We have a whole S#&;*load we can  use.  Let's prosecute people with the ones we have.  Oh, and if you  think "lets just outlaw all guns!", let me fill you in on something.  Criminals are named so because they do not follow laws.  Why in God's name do you think that outlawing guns would stop them from obtaining them.  Homicide has been outlawed for, well forever, and people are still killing other people.

I believe in the right to self defense and self sustenance.  Both are aided by our technology.  We are not the physically dominant creatures on the planet.  We have provided food through the use of projectiles for thousands of years.  Rock...spear...slingshot...bow...crossbow.....gun....laser.....photon torpedo....  So in close combat you can feel free fight a bear with your bear hands if you want and why not bring a knife to a gunfight too.
